One of the legends relates that a rich Bohemian lord once placed his daughter in the convent here because he would not allow her to marry the poor knight she loved. But the knight found her even in her cloistered hiding place and meant to carry her off. Their arrangement was betrayed, and the father, summoned there, killed his daughter in the dark of night in the convent garden and wounded her bridegroom mortally. Nor was the enraged man appeased even by that: he cursed his daughter to have no peace even in the grave for as long as a scrap of the convent wall should stand. Since then the murdered girl wanders every night through the corridors and the courtyard in a grey bloodstained robe, sighing sorrowfully.
