The Walled-Up Nun

Břetislavova

Historically
domek Jungwirthovský čili u Ježíška, č. 303

Coming from Tržiště, one sees on the right the first old house with a balcony, called the Jungwirth house or At the Infant Jesus. According to legend a convent is said to have stood here, in which a nun was walled up in the cellar for a grave fault. Her ghost walks here every Friday at midnight and will be delivered only when the house built on the foundations of the former convent is pulled down and the bones that are found are buried in consecrated ground.
