Gold-Washers' Mounds on the Royal Meadow

The meadow is still called the Royal Meadow in memory of the coronation celebrated upon it. It belonged to the Vyšehrad chapter and in part to several citizens of Podolí. In olden days gold was also panned on the Royal Meadow — sixty years ago the washers' mounds were still said to be visible there.
