The uncorrupted body of Saint Electa, the first prioress of Prague, is kept here. The feast day tells this legend of her. When after three years the nuns found the buried body of Sister Electa uncorrupted in its coffin, although it had lain in water, they washed it — and in doing so it turned black. They then wished to set the body upright, but could not; so they told the abbess, and she said: 'Tell the blessed sister that in life she was always obedient, so let her obey now as well and sit up.' Scarcely had the nun said this to the dead body when it obeyed.
