The Sinner on the Infernal Cart

The large house on the corner of Šporkova and Janská Streets, the inn At the Three Golden Crowns, is said to have been a monastery once. And because there was a graveyard beside it, a tale arose here as elsewhere that a great sinner was buried there who rises from his grave every Friday at midnight and rides about the neighbourhood in the shape of a skeleton on an infernal cart.
