Two Arabs and the First Coffee House
Karlova
The small house number 182-16 is said to have been called At the Two Arabs in the eighteenth century as well. According to a tale preserved in the house, two Arabs moved here the coffee house they had previously kept beneath the Lesser Town bridge tower, and grew rich enough to buy the house. Their stone busts are said to have been on the house too, but they were removed during repairs in the time of the former owner Loukota.
