The Dream of the Woman Trubka
Klementinum
The Dominicans came here from Saint Clement's in what is now Klimentská Street, where from 1226 they had a monastery founded by Přemysl Otakar I. After six years they moved from there to the Old Town by the bridge. It happened, it is said — as Dalimil writes — through the inspiration of a certain hermitess named Trubka, to whom Saint Clement appeared in a dream and commanded her to tell them that he bade them serve him by the bridge.
