According to another tale the gentleman was buried here only apparently dead. He is said to have come round from his swoon and forced off the coffin lid, but he could not get out of the vault — and so the poor wretch perished there by a dreadful death. It was discovered when years later someone else was buried in the same vault: they found the coffin open and the skeleton lying on the floor. It is said to have been at the funeral of Count František Karel Vratislav in 1716.
