Told by

In the small Černín house there lived a widow with a pretty daughter. An envious neighbour once rubbed the girl's teeth with some liquid, and from that time her teeth fell out with dreadful pain. One evening the girl was praying outside at a little cross she had made of twigs and stuck into the ground. In the morning her mother found her well and with new teeth, at the great cross — and into that cross people afterwards drove nails, to be rid of toothache.
