The Parish Priest on a Beam from the Window

Content warning: violence
On 30 July 1419 the priest Jan of Želiv led a procession from the church of Our Lady of the Snows in defiance of a ban, and when they came here they forced their way into the church of Saint Stephen, broke into the parsonage and plundered it — and by legend hanged the Crusader Knights' parish priest on a beam thrust out of the parsonage window. From there they marched on to the New Town hall.
