Content warning: violence
In the wall dividing this aisle from the nave, beneath a fine piece of sculpture of about 1400 with the heads of Wenceslas IV and his consort Sophia, is set the marble tablet of Šimon Abeles, a newly baptised Jew. He is said to have been murdered by Jews for his apostasy and buried here in 1694; his portrait is shown in the church as well.
