That He Never Wished to See That City Again
Vyšehradská
At the Botič brook in 1420 the men of Prague fought the royal garrison of Vyšehrad. A little later Mikuláš of Hus, a man of extravagant opinions, rode out of Prague saying that he never wished to see that city again. But as he crossed the Botič his horse bolted, Mikuláš fell and was badly injured; he was carried back to Prague, where he died a fortnight afterwards.
